The Mistry and No Symbols boss has spent the past 10 years exploring a sound which nods to the legacy of bleep techno, dubstep and UK funky while leaning forwards into its own distinctive space.His stripped-back blend of crisp drums, sprightly hooks and sub bass are instantly identifiable, but across four new tracks Beneath displays the versatility within his reach. Stomping four to-the-floor rollers on the A side face-off with minimalist dub and weighty, synth-rich expressions on the flip that move beyond the demands of the dancefloor.Livity Sound is a label set up by Peverelist in 2011 as a vehicle for a raw and exploratory strain of UK techno, rooted in the heritage of UK dance music and sound system culture. It has since become one of the UK's foremost protagonists for cutting edge underground electronic music.

What Can Be Done When Nothing Can Be Done Turning into a label and putting out our first record was an exhilarating process. Shoutouts again to everyone who’s bought Aroent’s “Eleese” EP, gave it airplay or left positive feedback. All of this certainly left us hungry for more, which is why we couldn’t be happier to announce our next EP, AWK002 - “Nines” by Lårry. After solid recent releases on Super Hexagon and Fusion Diagnostics, our dear Lårry goes from strength to strength with this versatile and atmospheric four tracker. From idiosyncratic techno swirls to emotive peak time bangers, every track has its own story and character, all served with immaculate sound design and the inimitable Lårry touch. Packed Rich is back with the second record on our beat series, but this time he brought his childhood friend Sleepy Boy for an intergalactic space trip.

GEMS UNDER THE HORIZON 1 (a chill-out division of Basic Moves)."Unexpectedly, the track is based around a chord from a song often played on the radio during the Second World War. The sample has been manipulated - it almost feels as if the music disappears into the mist. The title references the green flare shot into the sky that allied bomber squadrons took as a signal for take-off. (In case of a red light, they were to turn their engines off and run back to their quarters.)
