Zèbres Records is back celebrating Plein Soleil’s new release blending his polyrhythmic, ambient and dub aspirations. Through his solo project, Jonathan Grandcollot —also part of Société Etrange, Pan Pan Pan and supergroup Omertà— explores his broad DIY instrumentation, working his percussions towards a dub, fourth-world space, ruling out every "cliché associated with the genre, instead generously filling this 12" with mesmerizing agitation. After a much needed break, the B1 puts you in an immediate trancestate lasting just a few minutes and before you know it you will be blasted into drum and bass land with ‘Tasteful Nudes’ closing out the EP.
