EYA Records gets off to a strong start of 2022 by inviting ‘The Nothing Special’ producer Oli Silva and Argentinian hardware maestro Manuk for their 16th release.A1 ‘ Mirage man’ by Manuk is a wonderful, expressive techno and trance infused number, while A2 ‘Mutant Mindset’ by Oli Silva has a raw breakbeat impact with classy eerie chords,haunting vocals and a killer bassine.B1 is the result of the joint effort by the two producers, ‘Multiple Minglings’ is a very impactful psychedelic journey. The EP is completed by a ‘Freestyle’ remix of B1 by UK legendary producer Dave Campbell aka HI-Ryze.

For it s third release, CYRK brings Detroit legend Suburban Knight to the label! 4 electro oriented tunes James Pennington did with Sierra Sam and Gerome Sportelli back in his Belgium days.

Following his debut Third Ear release, the Shonky ep in 2018, Third Ear follow up with 8 more Shonky dance floor bombs. Shonky has a signature hypnotic, hard grooving sound, characterised by punishing beats laced with detailed polyrhythms and elusive motifs. On The Run is Shonky's second album.

Berlin-based imprint Ecke Records has gone from strength to strength over its past three releases, an inaugural VA followed by EP’s from Squallfront and Data Room, in the process cementing itself as a now go to label for leftfield leaning electronica and each record further draws you in thanks to the uniquely designed full sleeve artwork by Ben Fables. Here we see Ecke deliver its fourth release courtesy of Xantrax, a Marseille-born producer and one half of Squallfront alongside the label-founder. Taking the lead is ‘Tekline’, a murky, unfurling cut fuelled by off-kilter tribal drum work, bubbling bass delays and modulating synth flutters. Addison Groove steps up next on remix duties, reshaping ‘Tekline’ with choppy vocal cuts, dubbed out chord stabs and organic percussion floating atop the originals hypnotic groove. ‘Linetek’ opens the flip, as the name would suggest acting as a counterpart to the lead track, taking a 4/4 approach rhythmically while introducing a similar modulating bass line alongside chanting vocals. ‘0121’ then rounds out the package, an angsty, dynamically unfolding composition laid out over four and a half minutes with droplet synth delays, heady bass swells, spoken word vocals and crunchy broken drums.

Cape is back for Savor Music's 17th release. This time, one of our label owners, delivers a solid four tracker. Each of one them has a distinctive vibe making this release an unique piece of wax that could be played at different moments. On this reference we can hear Cape creating a delicate balance of all his influences and travelling back again to his original signature sound. You can find a little bit of Detroit, Acid and electro tinged sounds and melodies, atmospheric grooves and super dynamic basslines. Enjoy the beats!
