Hand delivered from Andy himself with the words "This album is a collection of personal essentials collected over the past 10 years. The oldest track is over 10 years old, now guess which one it is?"
WE ARE BEYOND EXCITED TO BE CELEBRATING OUR 5TH ANNIVERSARY.THE PAST TWO YEARS HAVE KEPT US FROM FULLY EXPRESSING WHO WE ARE AND WHAT WE DO AS A COLLECTIVE. THANKFULLY, WE HAVEN’T LOST OUR PASSIONS AND INTERESTS.SO, THERE SHOULD BE NOTHING STOPPING US FROM HAVING THIS CELEBRATION - A FIRST STEP YET A VERY IMPORTANT ACHIEVEMENT!5-TO-HYPERSPACE IS A SPECIAL PROJECT EMBODYING AN 8
TRACK COMPILATION AND A COLLABORATION WITH OUR DEAR FRIEND AND GRAPHIC DESIGNER YURI KABAN, WHO HAS FRAMED OUR INFAMOUS CATHODE-RAY TUBE AESTHETIC IN A T-SHIRT DESIGN.
Hailing from Rio de Janeiro, Marcela Dias Sindaco is formerly a classical piano and cello player. With early musical influences drawing from experimental German groups like Popol Vuh, Tangerine Dream, and Cluster, her electro productions encapsulate more than one sound palette. In 2021, she released her first EP on DEEPTRAX, and here we have her second gift of huge, thoughtful, vocalized electro ready to be received by heady listeners across the world. Each track brings together unique pieces that fit into her cohesive vision of electro. There are big bass drums, panned hi-hats, and crunchy bass lines. Stabby pads, punchy piano licks, tantalizing but direct Portuguese vocals, loopy Rhodes progressions, and a touch of acid...bonafide DJ rewind material right here!
