One EP is the first release of newborn E2-E8 Records out of London. A label to celebrate friendship and put new talents on the map.

Out of Luca’s E2-E8 show on Netil Radio came the idea to launch an independent imprint with the same concept: putting good new electronic music into people’s ears, and expose people whose creative voice has hardly been heard so far. The result is a label with a clear plan, with promising talents already lined up to appear on the platform.

Fittingly, the first release is a split EP between two friends.

On the A side we have “Rising Sun”, from the mind of Netil Radio founder Miro Sundaymusiq. This suspended, emotive number perfectly encompasses Miro’s world, where ambient rooms and rapturous deep trance seamlessly bond together. The Pacifist Techno Version is purely for the mind, while the Non Pacifist Trance Version engages your body and translates the same emotions to the dance floor.

The B side is home to two Meditations from the creative flare of Avsluta, one of the most fascinating sound artists recently appearing on London’s scene. With performances at Cafe Oto and collaborations with David Toop already on her back, we are witnessing her charting a groundbreaking path. “Meditation 03” and “Meditation 18” are part of that path – two rich and articulate works that will sit easily in many ambient sets. The Digital Bonus “Meditation 16” sees the artist playing with her voice, in a way that reminds us of Donato Dozzy and Anna Caragnano’s “Sintetizzatrice” from a few years back.

Early support for this record comes from Vladimir Ivkovic, who played Meditation 18 as the opening track of one of his Noods Radio shows, and from Jane Fitz who played Rising Sun on her Rinse FM show.

Cape is back for Savor Music's 17th release. This time, one of our label owners, delivers a solid four tracker. Each of one them has a distinctive vibe making this release an unique piece of wax that could be played at different moments. On this reference we can hear Cape creating a delicate balance of all his influences and travelling back again to his original signature sound. You can find a little bit of Detroit, Acid and electro tinged sounds and melodies, atmospheric grooves and super dynamic basslines. Enjoy the beats!
Debut album from Bufo Bufo on Altered Sense.
Through aeons of evolution, the mysterious metamorphosis of the vinyan butterfly advances with a new moon: slowly becoming whole, casting sounds and echoes from one dimension to another. We witness the next cycle as it spreads its wings and emerges from the chrysalis. The eccentric landscapes and hypnotic blends of Sunju Hargun and Khun Fluff are given new capacity and perception catalyzed by Full Circle (aka Joakim and Alexis Le-Tan), S.O.N.S under his SYO moniker, and an eternal injection rework bonus. The A-side features Sunju Hargun’s ٹرانس - released prior on the Vinyan cassette and now for the first time on vinyl - spinning around a warm body of transportive delays and reverberant acid textures. The steadily drifting polyrhythms send a balance of nuance and intensity off to the inner-nebula. Up next, the mysterious Seoul-based producer S.O.N.S. revisits his S.Y.O. moniker for an alternative interpretation. Leaving all subtleties behind, his rework takes off at the speed of sound, trembling into warped patterns of stubborn percussion, spirals, and even a "Koto" cameo, emerging into a sophisticated rapid-speed blend of ecstatic rhythms. The proto-Goa devotees Full Circle take over the entire flip with their unique twist on another cassette original: Khun Fluff’s poetic วิญญาณ (Vinyan). At the speed of spoken word, the track is built around Kalayanapong’s reincarnation poem recited by Chucheewa. “Late at night, I ate starlight, to nourish. Poetry pours out at dawn, forevermore.” Groovy, subtle, spaced out to other dimensions, it brings one into a sedated delirium. A state in which the night's darkness and grooves gently but firmly mix with the light and hopes of the first rays of sun. One for the 6 AM sunrises, meow meow.Along with a download card, the digital bonus on the release is Sunju Hargun’s eternal injection of ٹرانس. Starting like a hazy, dreamy, subdued, early morning ambient track, it morphs and transforms into a colourful, ever faster flying musical butterfly, bringing light, and speed in the E.P. 's final track.
“A pond becomes a lake, a breeze becomes a storm, a handful of dust is a desert” - W.G Sebald, The Rings of SaturnOriginally written for the ‘Horizons Sauvages’ exhibition by painter Marie-Laurence de Chauvingy de Blot, Dugong’s accompanying composition is the reification of a shared love of nature - setting out to capture the essence of her painting in musical form. Using natural sound pallets and layered loops, the complex bio-poetics of the ecosystem are explored in the fragility of their restless liminality. Environments in motion. Above all, the compositions are meditations on the importance of preservation. There we have it then: after-the-fall organic ambience across two full sides. Essentially essential - a blueprint for the next generation of New Age music. The resynchronization of what was, what is and what is yet to be.Written by Dugong. Mastering by Curved Pressing. Artwork by Marie-Laurence de Chauvigny de Blot. Designed by Guillaume de Ubéda. Distribution via Rubadub. Words by Jack Anderson
After the first VA and four-track EP from Lisene, this time we present Sider. Residing in Ukraine this mastermind has a unique and fresh sound that blends electro, techno and tribal sounds.
