Zèbres Records is back celebrating Plein Soleil’s new release blending his polyrhythmic, ambient and dub aspirations. Through his solo project, Jonathan Grandcollot —also part of Société Etrange, Pan Pan Pan and supergroup Omertà— explores his broad DIY instrumentation, working his percussions towards a dub, fourth-world space, ruling out every "cliché associated with the genre, instead generously filling this 12" with mesmerizing agitation. Cape is back for Savor Music's 17th release. This time, one of our label owners, delivers a solid four tracker. Each of one them has a distinctive vibe making this release an unique piece of wax that could be played at different moments. On this reference we can hear Cape creating a delicate balance of all his influences and travelling back again to his original signature sound. You can find a little bit of Detroit, Acid and electro tinged sounds and melodies, atmospheric grooves and super dynamic basslines. Enjoy the beats!

One year on from the passing of label co-founder and artist Alex Smith, Flash as a Rat returns with its 6th instalment. Digby, co-founder and brother to Alex, continues the siblings' form for emotionally intelligent and sound focussed minimal. 'Briefmacken' bumps through waves of kicks and glitches to arrive at moments of peaceful clarity, whilst 'Constantly' swings with off kilter hisses and pops around a metallic organ sequence, making it's claustrophobic way towards a beautifully layered string section at the crescendo. The typically pared back artwork this time inverts the colour scheme from the brothers' first ever release on their own label, marking the record simultaneously the ending of one chapter and the beginning of the next.
