Hiatus has finished, new wax is molded and Vakum spits out their celebratory tenth release. Warped Reality EP revisites galactic and spacious backbone sounds from not so long ago infused with fresh production spices. In this case, Cosmic G & Laars, the duo which grows from the new Serbian batch. Take a listen to this five-tracker riddled with space blasters and hypnotic segments.A1. Flowing through interstellar space, B Star revisites some well known and loved sounds from early hypnotic era of electronic music. Upon arriving to the quazzar crossroads it also dives into breakbeat moments just to be reformed into acid sphere once again. A touch of trance goes a long way.A2. Sometimes you hear a track that resmebles multiple tracks combined. This is just the case in Terestrial Dreams. Filled with dreamy and galactic delays it pushes itself into endless progressive spiral of heavy bassline, smooth perc shots and otherworldly segments.B1. All about the cosmic ride in a night train between two planets. Along the way it pasess through multiple sound stations and realms inviting even more passengers for this sparkling night out. Pure delicacy!B2. Broken beats, scrapping vocals and intermitting bassline. Babble is inhaling acid hits fromthe sorroundings and projects them onto punchy snares and raw rhytmics to be carried further into old school babble beats. Perfect B side.B3. The outcast. The villan. The bad guy. Slow and ominous pace bundled with serious bassline sequence that goes into offence during the vocal break. This burner really stomps heavy hits onto you and smashes every sonic valve while pouring acid. "Oh, well, allow me to retort."
Behind Bandhagens Musikforening we find Michel Isorinne and Martin Sander. After their debut album on Northern Electronics they are now the protagonists of the 8th physical release on the label One Instrument. The Swedish duo recorded the beautifully crafted six tracks at Bandhagen Airport in Sweden between 2017 and 2020.Six tracks each made with one instrument with a clear preference for vintage synthesizers. We are brought through delicate sonic journeys made with the Roland System 100, a semi-modular synthesizer built between 1975 and 1979, the legendary first digital synthesizer Yamaha DX-7, the Roland SH-101, the Oberheim Matrix 6R and the Waldorf Microwave all four from the beloved 80's.Bandhagens Musikforening's compositions are a radiant work of quiet minimalism and poetic deliberation. We are brought into an intergalactic hypnotic world where dreams are colored and vivid, where immersive electronics have the ability to create landscapes on your mind board.
Marco Shuttle's third album, Cobalt Desert Oasis, features a varied collection of music recorded across a two year period. Often traveling to remote destinations, Marco would come back to Berlin with field recordings, images, and other inspirations to process in his studio and turn into sound. The theme of the journey turns into a something more abstract than a travel diary, where environmental sounds blend in with modular synthesis, drum machines, effects and analog oscillators resulting in a cinematic listening experience where psychedelia, ritualism, and mysticism weave together in a sort of alien soundscape - that as the title of the album suggests, is reminiscent of a parallel utopian world. The album is rich in complex rhythmics, and more than in any of his previous work, has strong acoustic elements. Amongst other percussion instruments, Marco used the Tombak, a traditional Persian hand drum capable of reaching a very wide range of frequencies - from deep round subby toms, to high pitched sharp rimshots, throughout the record.Marco Shuttle is certainly not new to these sort of elements, but in Cobalt Desert Oasis he brings the environmental element of his sound into the forefront in a way that takes the listener into a hazy expanse where it is sometimes difficult to distinguish the machine elements from the natural - and where the music almost becomes a visual experience, which relates to Marco's own photography used throughout the cover and insert images.

Born in 1989, Daniele Tomassini is the DJ, music producer and sound composer behind the Feel Fly project. Originally from Perugia, where he still lives and works, Daniele, self-taught, began his musical career as a composer of soundtracks for theatre and film productions, from which came his first international awards, the starting point for his subsequent compositional work, including the latest, signed under the name Feel Fly, for the film I Santi (2021) by director Giacomo Abruzzese, awarded at the prestigious CineMed festival in Montpellier.Co-founder of the Afro Templum party, in 2015 he made his debut with the track called Ls, within the compilation “United Republic of Music” on the italian label Roots Underground, while the following year he released his first EP Same Old Place Vol.1 (2016) on his own label Too Romantic. In addition to compositions for cinema and theatre, the club-oriented musical productions of these years will be essential to the definition of Feel Fly’s sound, a sound that straddles worlds and eras that are only apparently opposed: Ambient, House and Disco, merged with more acid and Trancey sounds, finding favour with key figures of a certain European clubbing scene such as Prins Thomas, who released his first official album Syrius and then the EP Cosmo Cosmo, interspersed with an ep of remixes by Dj Sotofett and Prins Thomas himself, all published on Internasjonal, or Gerd Janson, who recently released his latest work Mediterranean Dreams Part.1 and Part.2 (2022) on International Feel Recordings (label founded by Mark Barrott). In the coming months, a new EP is scheduled for release on New Interplanetary Melodies, label of the legendary dj Simona Faraone, label for which, our Feel Fly had already appeared as Remixer within the last record of Leo Young, also on NIM (2019).
Assemble music welcomes production duo Oni-Ki who deliver three genre-bending cuts flirting with Detroit and rave atmospheres, topped up by a classy remix by Liverpool's very own Reedale Rise.
