Psychick visions from a dystopic parallax; closely mapped and cognate to the occupied plane we recognise but littered with nuanced distortions, twisting certainty just past the assured facade of familiar…

For its inaugural release Mirror Zone unveils a repressing of an overlooked EP from UK artist Memphis way back when in 1994. We’re delivered complex, mystic rhythms nodding to the likes of PWOG, Paradise 3001 and Sabres of Paradise, the unique breakbeat-tweaked, tribal-trance epitiomising early 90s output from labels like KK, Go Bang!, Dream and ESP Records.

Vital obscura for those sick enough to search.

Without doubt a balearic anthem, sounding so familiar yet at the same time maybe never heard before on too many contemporary dance floors. This track checks all the boxes: generous synthetic low end bass lines, catchy piano/string riffs, Spanish vocals, Flamenco guitar accents, dreamy synth chords, early synthesized flutes.Play this on any outdoor festival dance floor this summer and see for yourself, sunset or sunrise this will establish a moment of truth on the floor. Comes with 3 different remixes to choose from, all great, no fluff. Seriously remastered with new highly suggestive full color artwork.
Timehri Records are back with another trip into intergalactic Crud, delivering more timeless physical output for the ongoing journey. Up next is UK underground stalwart and Boiler Room label takeover guest Yosh. The South Londoner has made a name for himself for his signature break-step sounds, delivering projects for various UK imprints since his pre-rona emergence.Fresh off the back of his 100% production mix for the label’s reputable cassette series, Yosh delivers a weighty three tracker showcasing both sides of his arsenal.
Another year, another episode brought by Amorfo and its crew which continues to grow. This episode comes with two tracks from Arturo Hernzama, which is his first ever release on vinyl, he delivers two tracks: "Pampanitos" & "Rio Verde" both are dancefloor killers. After the heat brought by Arturo, Santiago Uc comes with "Roquedal", fresh and gentle as a summer breeze, letting Bruno Di Paolo finish this ep with "Siniestra Felicidad" a song that reflects his love for not letting you understand completely what he is up to.
Garage Hermétique, returns with a new EP of music from Views, presenting the ‘Kyoto Love’ EP. An alias of Atilla Fidan - producer & live performer, founder of the Berlin label Tape Archive, and also known for releases as Waitress/ASWA - each of the four tracks hits a naturalistic groove driven by vintage Chicago-esque rhythms and warm, acidic tones. On opening and title-track ‘Kyoto Love’, charming bird song flourishes into a rubbery bassline. ‘Go Well (Part 2)’ embarks on a similar tip, before loosening up into a soaring, somewhat new-age atmosphere, while never sacrificing it’s watertight drums. On the flip, ‘Kimura’ and ‘Systems (Last Mix)’ move in deeper directions still; The former is a sparkling, detailed cut that rolls out nocturnal dance floor depth, while the latter rounds off the release with transcendent choral breaks.
Once more we’ve balanced old and new school producers into a limited 150 copies 12"….Thrilled to have legendary Shaka opening the EP, followed by Barcelona’s esteemed producers Jorge Gamarra and D-Ufo under their JGRE moniker, South Italy's rising machines overlord Filippo Bologna and to close it all another producer who needs no introduction, Tommy Vicar Jnr.
