Carpet boss Jorge Caiado returns with three tracks to expand your mind and your soul. Stretching across the A, ’Plant A New Garden’ is a cosmic neo-Detroit techno epic that comes accompanied by a life-affirming narrative in the long tradition of UR’s ’Transition’. On the B, ’Find Your Rhythm’ weaves a military kick, febrile percussion and a wicked acid motif into a dangerously groovy web. Finally, the easy, breezy ’Say What?’ smooths things over with classic house aplomb.

Doodle's first V.A. compiles a Hodgepodge of spicy tunes with bangers on the A and trippy sounds on the B.
KONTRAST ascends to cosmic spheres with their fourth release. This time it’s Italian producer Luca Piermattei’s cloudy sonic movements venturing effortlessly into the quirky universe the KONTRAST crew is known for. Delivering a four track EP, Piermattei’s misty sounds merge excellently with the radiant realm of the Belgium collective. Expect a bizarre ride through a strange yet contagiously fresh auditory world.
After launching Remember 430 with Dishmo’s debut EP, the Paris-based label focuses on the work of Mariana EMAUZ Valdetaro, a Portuguese producer, DJ and fashion designer living between Lisbon and Fukuoka in Japan. We are thrilled to release her debut album, which is also the label’s first LP, featuring artwork created by up-and-coming Leipzig artist Lion Sauterleute. With its sincere bangers such as the compelling THE ROOM and the relentless FADO, its deeper cuts like the outstanding SO LOW, the sensual SHADES OF EMPTY and the bouncy digital bonus 16 HOURS and with its intros, outros and other interludes, it’s easy to approach THROUGH as a run of the mill club LP. But it’s so much more than that.Using the grammar of club music, EMAUZ creates lush, hypnotic tunes, reduced in their design, operating as Ganzfeld goggles of sorts so that out of the repetition inherent to any loop-based music, the listeners’ mind can conjure images and sensations that are theirs and theirs alone. And so, after listening to the album and playing it in a variety of contexts for almost a year before its release, it is now clear that THROUGH is a soundtrack. It is the soundtrack for the journeys life asks you to take, both inwards and outwards. It is an album about movement, transition, and the passage from one physical side or state of mind to the other. It is ready for the dancefloor, but in fact invites you to take the energy and clear- headedness prolonged club sessions so often provide, and to harness it when you’re on the move, on foot or in a vehicle, in cities, in nature or in the sky, or when you are listening to it with your eyes closed lying down. It is this dimension that seemed unique and remarkable to me and that made me want to share this music with the world. Keep going, you'll make it through the other side.
